Garlic Mustard Pulls Scheduled for May 4, 7, 11

Help remove invasive Garlic Mustard in our neighborhood on the following days:

  • Saturday, May 4, 9:00 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesday May 7, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday May 11, 9:00 a.m. to noon

Each removal event begins at the bottom of the Dupont stairs, on the North side of the Minnehaha Creek. 

What to bring

  • Gloves
  • Hand tool: hook, trowel, weeder

Bags are provided.

Quick Facts

  • Garlic mustard is a noxious weed that spreads primarily by seed.
  • Garlic mustard grows in mounds and has clusters of small white flowers and scalloped green leaves that smell like garlic when crushed.
  • You can remove small sections of garlic mustard by hand digging. Place the weed in a bag for trash.
